Course Details

Key Stage 3

At Key Stage 3 the pupils follow a QCA approved scheme of work which links directly to the main skills as outlined in the National Curriculum; Performance, Composition, Improvisation, Listening and Appraising. We cover topics which include studying musical history, music from around the world and different musical styles. This provides an excellent grounding for the courses in Key Stage 4 and 5.
 

Key Stage 4

At Key Stage 4 we currently have a large group for GCSE Music following the OCR specification.
 

Key Stage 5

At Key Stage 5 we have just started a BTEC National Award in Music Performance.
