About the Department

The ICT Department at The Duston School is equipped with four full dedicated ICT rooms with separate areas for computer based work and theory based work. All of our ICT suites make use of the latest in thin client technology incorporating the latest software including Microsoft Office 2007 and Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks. to facilitate multimedia work we also have a dedicated "fat client" room comprising 30 high specification workstations equipped with 19" TFT monitors. We also have access to a full class set of high definition digital video cameras.

The Department is staffed by three full time ICT teachers, one part time ICT teacher supported by a dedicated team of technical staff.
